Biography

Dr. Mallozzi is a Psychiatrist at Aster Mental Health who completed his residency program at the University of Connecticut, where he served as the Chief Education Resident. Prior to that, Dr. Mallozzi graduated from Quinnipiac University’s School of Medicine, Columbia University, and New York University.

Dr. Mallozzi is naturally curious and creates a welcoming, non-judgmental environment to establish a therapeutic alliance that employs medications, psychotherapy, and lifestyle changes to help patients make decisions that fit their circumstances and treatment goals. He is comfortable treating a wide spectrum of adult patients, including those with depressive disorders, ADHD, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, bipolar spectrum, and other mood disorders, psychotic disorders, and some substance use disorders such as tobacco use disorder, alcohol use disorder, cannabis use disorder, and stimulant use disorder.

In addition to his native language of English, Dr. Mallozzi speaks fluent Italian and conversational Spanish and Portuguese.
