Biography
Ms. Capozziello is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and earned her degrees from Central Connecticut State University and Suffolk University. Her professional experience spans a wide array of settings including outpatient counseling, inpatient psychiatric care, as well as inpatient, residential, and outpatient substance use treatment.
Danielle applies a mindful, compassionate, and multi-disciplinary approach to treatment, working alongside adult individuals with needs surrounding anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief and bereavement, complex trauma, substance use, and serious mental illness. Danielle provides a unique treatment approach, tailoring mindfulness-based Cognitive (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapies (DBT), as well as Internal Family Systems (IFS). IFS explores internal processes through the lens that all thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors operate from positive intent. She holds a deep sense of gratitude for those processes which allow clients to experience calm and peace, and an even deeper sense for those that hold the weight of fear and shame.
