Biography
Mx. Moffit is a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) committed to supporting their clients with a range of therapies, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and dance/movement therapy. Amanda believes strongly in the connection between mind and body, and helps patients explore and validate their somatic, whole-body experiences in a safe, non-judgmental space. Amanda aims to create a space for each individual through authenticity and compassion to facilitate exploration of self and personal growth.
With an expansive career in mental health, Amanda specializes in helping individuals who identify as LGBTQIA+, as well as those suffering from ADHD and trauma. In addition, their client-centered, evidence-based methods have proven very successful at treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties.
Amanda completed their graduate studies at Lesley University.
