Biography

Dr. Campbell is a board-certified psychiatrist at Aster Mental Health. He obtained his medical degree from Saint George’s University and completed his residency at Harvard South Shore/VA Boston Healthcare System. After residency, he continued his training at VA Boston to complete a fellowship in Neuropsychiatry, garnering a specialization in the evaluation and treatment of cognitive disorders, traumatic brain injuries, and Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy.

In addition, Dr. Campbell is skilled in treating a wide range of psychiatric pathologies including MDD, bipolar, schizophrenia, PTSD, ADHD, OCD, and substance use disorders using a mix of psychotherapeutic approaches and medication management.

A former collegiate and international professional basketball player prior to medical school, Dr. Campbell also specializes in sports psychiatry, which is focused on the optimization of athletic performance and treatment of mental health conditions unique to active or retired professional, collegiate, and high-level amateur athletes.
